Refund policy

MWA Woodworks Shop sells digital products (downloadable PDF plans, STL files, and templates) and physical products (3D-printed woodworking jigs and accessories). Refund and return terms differ depending on the product type.

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales of digital products are final. This includes PDF project plans, STL files, and digital templates.

A digital product is considered "delivered" and "used" as soon as the download link is accessed, and we are unable to revoke access once a file has been downloaded. For this reason, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on digital products.

Exception — file delivery problems: If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from downloading or opening a digital product (for example, a corrupted file or a broken download link), please contact us at digital@mwawoodworks.com within 14 days of purchase. We will resolve the issue by sending a working copy of the file at no cost.

We strongly encourage customers to read the product description in full before purchasing a digital product to ensure it meets their needs.

Physical Products

We want you to be satisfied with your physical purchase. Returns and refunds for physical products are handled as follows.

Return window: 3D printed Items DO NOT have to be returned, but can be discarded.  The customer may request a refund or replacement within 30 days of receiving their product or of the expected receipt date for the item if the item was lost in transit.

Condition for returns: If an item was damaged or destroyed during the delivery process or was otherwise found to be defective in operation due to a printing error, the customer has the option of a full refund OR can choose to receive a replacement item at no additional cost.

We reserve the right to deny a refund for any circumstance not outlined in the conditions of return.

How to start a return:

  1. Email physical@mwawoodworks.com with your order number and the reason for the return and any photo evidence of the issue (this helps out a lot with the carriers).
  2. We will respond within 3 business days with a resolution.
  3. Broken or defective items can be thrown away (no return shipment needed). Customer may ask for a refund of their purchase back to their original form of payment, a coupon code equivalent in value to the original purchase to be used on a future purchase, or to have a replacement of the item purchased sent to them at no additional cost.

 

Return shipping costs: No return of physical 3D printed items is necessary.

Refund processing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 3 business days of the approval of the request. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.

Non-returnable physical items: Custom or made-to-order items are not eligible for return and all sales are final.

Cancellations

  • Digital products: Cannot be cancelled once the order is placed, as the download is delivered immediately
  • Physical products: May be cancelled for a full refund if the order has not yet shipped. Contact us at physical@mwawoodworks.com as soon as possible to request cancellation
